The Lindy KVM Over IP Extender system allows users to control a source device such as a PC or PVR through a standard IP network. This transmitter unit must be connected to one or more receiver units (No. 38265 not included) to create a standard point to point control system, with a maximum distance of 150m (492,12ft). It's also possible to set up a distributed control system (One to Many configuration) which allows a single device connected to a Transmitter to be controlled by several consoles each connected to a receiver unit (No. 38265 - not included) via a dedicated Ethernet switch or VPN.

This extender system includes a convenient IR (25 to 56kHz) repeating system to allow for the dedicated use of a remote control from the console side.
